Hi all!
This Friday I will officially be done with finals and heading home to spend time with family and friends, then venturing off to Australia for a couple weeks, and finally getting back to putting more time into Project Light to Life!
Since there has been a bit of a hold on the Bucket listories, while I’ve been trying to complete papers, exams, etc, I thought it might be fun to do an inventory among Project Light to Life’s readers for now and ask you all some questions.
So I ask you dear friends, 1) what is the #1 item you want to cross off your bucket list? and 2) What is the best thing you believe you have ever accomplished in life?
Post your answers in the comment section! I look forward to hearing what you all have to say π
1) What is the #1 item you want to cross off your bucket list? I want to clean my house so that the realtor can come over and assess it/represent me in the sale. Then I want to sell it and buy a new place. 2) What is the best thing you believe you have ever accomplished in life? Creative projects. I see and do.
Ohh, #1 is a great practical goal! And I completely agree with you on #2. You have an incredible knack for creative projects π
You’re coming to my fair country! How exciting! Just as it’s getting warm, too! I desperately want to do a holiday in Europe, I’ve never been. I’m really proud of the way I’ve learned to treat my bleeding disorder with food, exercise and lifestyle changes this year.
Ahh, I absolutely can’t wait to go there in the summer π And yes, going to Europe would be amazing. I agree that that is a great accomplishment that shows your strength, because I’m sure it’s not always easy! May you continue in such a positive direction!
Congrats on conquering finals! woohoo! The #1 item I want to cross off my bucket list is going on a European tour. Hopefully this will happen in the next couple of years! What is the best thing you believe you have ever accomplished in life? Honestly, I’m really amazed by how well I reacted when I found out I had cancer and the positive outlook I’ve gained because of my experience!
Yay, thanks so much π Ohh, I would love to go to Europe! Definitely a good one. And as for number two, you seem like a very strong person with such a positive outlook; it’s very inspiring!
You’re welcome! And thanks so much for your kind words.
Of course π
Good morning! 1) #1 item that I want to cross off my bucket list – continue conquering the stress and living to the fullest, and 2) coming to the U.S. Love your project!
I love both of those and thank you so much :)!
I want to meet Jesus Christ – in this life.
I pray He magnifies His presence for you this Christmas. π
Thank you so much, Princess! This Christmas, I’m just hoping to feel His spirit. Your response really made me smile – a very warm smile.
I pray His spirit may be upon you, today and always. He is never far from you.
βAsk, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7
π
Oh, I know! And I ask, seek, knock every day. May you be blessed likewise, Princess.
Thank you. π
I agree,that would be very neat : )!
Thanks so much for the follow! As you have seen I just made a big tick off the list with running my first marathon at age 52. Might I suggest to your readers that if that item is on their list sooner is better than later? π
You’re very welcome! And yes, that is an awesome accomplishment. I would love to run an actual marathon someday, so thank you for the inspiration π
I have been trying to pick a #1 and I just cannot. I think I can get it to three: make a documentary, ride in a hot air balloon (I’m terrified of them), and build the studio table for my podcast.
I love all three of those goals! I especially would love to do the first two as well, though the last one is also really neat π
Excellent! What kind of documentary are you interested in making?
I’ve been doing my podcast for a little over a year now. It’s a lot of fun…I love finding people with unique stories and chatting with them. One of these days I plan to figure out how to do a long-distance interview over the Web…perhaps you can share some of your bucket list stories with us!
My current #1 is to spend the night in a haunted hotel/mansion! π have fun on your adventure!
Omg, I would absolutely love to do that too! Thanks Kate π
I want to find a new publisher for “Mrs. Job,” buyers for “When to Forgive” and “Forgiving One Page at a Time,” and interest in what I’m writing now – “My Fathers’ House.”
I have a hard time answering the second question. I have been so blessed with so many opportunities to accomplish things. I guess when it comes to what I’m most proud about, it would be overcoming the terrible sadness — even depression — as my marriage fell apart, and ultimately gaining strength from it.
That’s amazing you have so much material π And I agree, the second one is definitely a tricky question. But I think your answer definitely does show a lot of strength, as I’m sure that would be incredibly difficult. May you continue to stay strong!
Wow that is such a tough question π I was going to say publishing a book but I thought that was too easy.
Then it came to me…raising great kids who give back and make the world a better place. It answers both questions.
Good luck on finals. Best Renee

Isn’t it? Hey, to me publishing a book is amazing! But the second one is even nicer too π Thanks so much Renee!
My #1 Bucket List Dream is to travel to Indonesia and spend time with the Elephants π #2 The best thing in life that I’ve accomplished so far is graduating from college π
That would be SO cool! And I think that’s a wonderful accomplishment and one that, as a current senior in college, I can appreciate, lol
My #1 would be to visit Spain. I am most proud of the progress I have made this year in conquering my constant depression with exercise and therapy.
Visiting Spain would be amazing! And I agree that that is an incredible accomplishment. May you continue to go in such a positive, healthy direction π
Congrats on the finals. π #1 thing I want to cross off my list is to start my own business and make enough money to survive without another job. #2 Best thing I believe I’ve ever accomplished is raising two children who are kind, caring, and compassionate individuals. π
I think those are both two incredible goals π Let me know if you’re interested in sharing them on the Project Light to Life Facebook page (no names included, only photos), as per my most recent call for submissions (https://projectlighttolife.wordpress.com/2013/12/13/the-bucket-listory-project/)
Earn a living with what I Love doing.. Music.. π Thanks for this..
That’s a great one π Thank you!
Great questions…. 1) Find the DNA strand that can prevent cancer. 2) Other than graduation, launching my first blog.
I think #1 is an incredible, incredible response. Wouldn’t that be amazing? And #2 is a great accomplishment too :). Would you like to share your responses on the Project Light to Life Facebook page (I don’t include names, only photos people send me of themselves or that I take when I meet them!)

Ok awesome, thank you π I’ll let you know when I post it!
not sure at this time – guess I really don’t have a bucket list, maybe it is time to make one! Happy Days ahead since you are now finished with finals – let us know how you made out.
Haha, yes Patty, happy days ahead with the no finals is correct π And definitely let me know if you make one!
π
I want to work at least part-time at a great library again; and becoming a vegan is the best thing I’ve accomplished in my life because it’s not just about me. It helps every living thing. And it’s grown compassion, empathy, and love for myself and all others. It’s given my life meaning and something to fight for in my own way. Lovely blog and thanks for the follow. I love reading other’s dreams. It’s inspiring. Peace.
Thank you so much π I love both of your responses! Would you be interested in having them shared on the Project Light to Life Facebook page? I don’t include names, only a photo!
Sure. π How do I make it happen?
I shared it on your FB page; I don’t care if my name’s on it. Happy to share π Peace.
1) what is the #1 item you want to cross off your bucket list? – To lose the rest of my weight (probably another 60# or so) to get to my goal weight. 2) What is the best thing you believe you have ever accomplished in life? In July 2013 I reach my “lose 100 pounds” goal. ~Gina
I think those are incredible goals Gina! Would you be comfortable with me sharing them on the Project Light to Life Facebook page and using your photo? (No names, just a photo :))
Of course you can! I just FB messaged you my progress picture from 322.5#, my heaviest, down 100 pounds this past July.
Thank you again! Will keep you updated on when its posted π I’m going in order of when I received the submissions!
