Hi all!
I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and a happy new year!
Many apologies for the lack of recent posts, but I have just arrived in Australia for my study abroad trip a couple days ago. I promise I will start providing updates on the bucket list activities I’ve been crossing off and on the trip.
Anyone been doing any bucket list worthy activities recently? I’d love to hear about them ๐

HAPPY NEW YEAR-Hope you get to see Tasmania, let me know if Mt Elephant Pancake Barn is still there- required eating on many a bucket list. Awsome experience, good on ya.

Well, guess this means I have to return to Australia to try this! Lol

G’Day mate. Have fun down under. BTG
Thank you so much ๐
How wonderful for you–make it an adventure that fulfills and expands, as I am sure you will. As for myself, living with heart disease, seeking and loving God and being present in each moment aer bucket worthy enough for now. Blessings on you.
Hi Cynthia, thank you so much for your kind comment ๐ That must be difficult, but it sounds like you have an incredible spirit and I will keep you in my thoughts. Keep spreading such positivity!
I appreciate it–but it isn’t so hard! The alternative is much more unpleasant (not being here in body)! ๐
Haha, aww that’s a good point ๐
Welcome! I hope you’re having a great time in the sun! Let me know if you get a chance to visit my corner of the country (Tasmania), I have lots of tips!
Ah, I would love to go back to see Tasmania, it looks beautiful ๐
If you decide to go one day, let me know! I can give you a list of recommendations.
That would be great ๐
I’m presently in talks to syndicate some of my writing. Seems I’ve struck a chord with quite a few folks since my Boot-Strap Expat page has tripled in visitors and views since the New Year. http://7thpillar.wordpress.com/
If all goes well this will help underwrite the Boot-Strap Expat adventure so I can check more line-items off my Bucket List!
Ah, that’s awesome, congratulations ๐ Look forward to keeping updated on your blog!
Have fun in Aussie! Make sure to cross of eating grilled kangaroo off your list. Delicious!
Haha, I’m disappointed in myself for not trying kangaroo, but some of my friends did! They said it was delicious!
Bucket list: teaching English in China, going to the Philippines in a few weeks… I think we’re living similar lives. Hope your semester goes well!
Also, how did you add your own custom header picture? We have the same theme and I can’t figure that one out
Hi! It sort of took some fiddling, lol, but I wound up using an app (InstaFrame, meant for Instagram, it’s free) on my iPhone to combine three photos I liked, then took a screenshot of the finished product, cropped the screenshot in my photos, and emailed the finished cropped product to myself, where I saved the photo as a JPG. I’m sure there are much easier ways to get a customer header, but that’s what I wound up doing haha ๐
Ah, that’s awesome! Congratulations and look forward to keeping updated with your travels ๐ Thank you!
