Our Personal Journey

DSCF0277

I just want to give a big thank you to John at Our Personal Journey for sharing an article I wrote on his blog. While John’s blog focuses on weight loss, along with others’ journeys to conquer weight loss, he also examines people’s journeys in general. If you get a chance, please check out his blog as it’s really inspirational and he does a great job at letting us know about his life, while keeping the blog audience-centered too.

If you want to check it out, here’s the article I wrote. The article is mainly about the fear of not going through with goals and conquering this fear.

If you get a chance to read it, let me know what you think! Oh, and we’re working on correcting a minor typo I found (oops!)

Also, I’m currently holding an August Giveaway, so please check that out if you’re interested in winning fun prizes!

Do any of you guys have any journeys you’re focusing on right now, whether they be conquering weight loss, personal goals, academic ones, etc?

Aside from starting an adventure as a blogger/writer, I am in the early stages of my journey as an artist. You can see some of my drawings on Instagram: ModernLegend.

  8. What an excellent post. I’m really enjoying your site, every post I have read of yours has made me smile! For different reasons, but they have always made me smile!

I’ve had so many journeys in my life, my academic degrees, developing my career in emergency nursing, so many. But most important to me have been my travels. My gap years and backpacking around the world have been the most important and fun journeys I have ever had, and I have learned so much and grown as a person as a result of them.

Now I am on the road of a new journey as a writer and an author, and it is a hell of a learning curve! But I am hoping that it will one day lead to success. If not, at least I will continue to grow and learn, and start new journeys.

    • Aw thank you so much for your kind words 🙂 That’s awesome you have a career in emergency nursing! And how awesome that you went backpacking around the world. I actually just learned of the term “gap years” in the book “The Good Girl’s Guide to Getting Lost” and think that it’s such an amazing concept. Also, congrats on your writing career; that will be so exciting and I can’t wait to hear how it goes!

  9. Sometimes working towards a goal can be scary… many people keep from working on goals because they don’t believe that having the life they want could ever be their reality.

Great article and great blog. I’ve just begun blogging myself and would love your feedback!
